Impact on your Orion server should be negligible, and really not much more than monitoring your SQL instances using our existing application templates. AppInsight for SQL polling has been optimized for the information collected. At worst, you may notice slightly slower page loads on AppInsight for SQL views, as there is substantially more information loading in these views than a typical application template. AppInsight for SQL data is collected at the same default 5 minute polling interval as normal application templates. Assent Inventory information however is only collected once a day.
