update the nodeid, interfaceindex, interfacename, InterfaceType, InterfaceTypeDescription, Caption on the old interface to point to the new nodeid, interfaceindex, interfacename, InterfaceType, InterfaceTypeDescription, Caption
[and maybe update the pollers -- FWICS the same poller is used for all of my interfaces so this is not a problem]
the stats appear to be based off of the interfaceid
