Blackberry Email delivery

Hello Friends,

I have a question About SAM module used to test BB end user experience.

We tested BB email delivery feature using SAM module but i have some doubts:-

1) Is physical BB device a must to check email delivery? Has anyone used a simulator,if yes how can we configure it?

Currently  Blackberry script which comes with SAM module, we mentioned a user which is configured a physical BB device,but what if we copy that user profile to a simulator .Not sure if that will work.

2) Is physical device a must with that BB script? If yes that does that mean we need to have 3 physical devices to test BES 4,5,10?
